Here’s The Problem: Listen. Megan Fox is hot. I know it, you know it, she knows it. But the chick needs to shut up:

Actual Problem: Self confidence is great. Self promotion is ok. Being the president of your own fan club is too much.
Ironic that you pick arguably the most sexy photo I’ve seen of Megan Fox for a post that criticizes her bloated self image.
As much as her quotes are annoying (in a way not all dissimilar to Heigl’s rantings), the few times I’ve seen Fox in late night interviews, she has come across as (surprisingly) cool and intelligent.
She’s not a very good actress but I thinks she knows that and is aware her sexual appeal is responsible for about 90 percent of her career success. I also think some of these “can you really be that full of yourself?” remarks are said in a playfully exaggerated tone.
In a Hollywood full of Lindsay Lohan’s, I’d take a Megan Fox any day of the week.

Those quotes were all answers to direct questions. That is not ‘self promotion’…it’s answering the questions…clearly the answers are accurate..you want her to lie and say ‘Oh I’m a complete ugly dog’?
I dunno people… the-sexual confidence oozing out of her pores-comment in Elle, is a bit much. If I were her, I think I’d be a little sick of myself. It’s like wearing a tee-shirt that says “Mysterious” in wispy lettering. Suddenly the wearer is anything but, mysterious.

I think its sad that there is actually a CONFIDENT female in the public eye.. and people look up to her.. and you bash her confidence.. There are sooo many females with self-identity problems.. maybe it sickens you that she speaks her mind… but I think its a good thing for your girls to see.. Confidence isn’t a bad thing. maybe you should focus on yourself. Usually the things you dislike in others are the things you dislike most in yourself.

She is super confident, and that is a quality lacking in a lot of girls, but there we thought there is a line between being confident and being pompous and a girl with such outer beauty might benefit from have a little more modesty and little less swagger. There is a big difference between confidence and arrogance. A big, important, difference. Also? Megan Fox is not an example of what I’d hope my daughter would aspire to. Her um, ‘confidence’ is completely superficial. Her ‘confidence’ isn’t the kind that inspires change, or moves mountains. Her ‘confidence’ doesn’t extend much beyond which shade of red lipstick goes best with this dress, and just how much sex can I “ooze” tonight?
Give me a break.
For, me she is just, flat. I see no depth. Sure, she’s physically beautiful, (and I’m not exactly chopped liver, so this isn’t an issue of jealousy) but it pretty much stops there. She has yet to show, me at least, what lies beneath. She isn’t a terribly good actress, and any interview I’ve seen with her has left much to be desired as far as intellect and tact. Nope. She does nothing for me.
That predictable, textbook-ish sentence about “disliking the things in others that you really dislike in yourself” also does nothing for me.

Here’s the thing. I commented on another site about paying Megan Fox $300 to fart on my face in replying to the question on this particular site. Let’s look at it this way- if it cost me $300 a fart, how could I possibly afford to buy something more loving and practical that represents more than a one time experiecence- like a nice wedding ring- a symbolic representation of love rather than putting a price on someone for services for their body. Over the years, one of my hobbies has been psychology. If someone wants to be mean to me, I can use it like a sociopath, although this is not my intention.
Here’s the problem- are we human?
Really tough to criticize a hot woman for saying she’s hot when it’s said to her a thousand times a day, in words and actions by everyone she meets.
Besides if you aren’t president of your own fan club, it won’t have many members.
This is just a guess, but a pretty safe one…..I think your jumping her (for those quotes) says more about you, and your own fan club.
