Here’s the Problem: Matthew Broderick gave his reluctant blessing yesterday to allow a remake of his classic, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (though, not sure why his OK has anything to do with anything).
Actual Problem: Enough already! I understand the lack of creativity and originality going on in this town – I drink the water too – but can we let some things be? I’d like to propose a moratorium on remakes of movies made less than 50 years ago. Skipping school is still skipping school – the story doesn’t change if you add Blackberries and Uggs.
