Here’s the Problem: Seis De Mayo

Here’s the Problem: Kara and I went out last night for the Mexican victory over the French army at the Battle of Puebla in 1862**  Fun Fact: Kara’s Half Mexican!  Anyone care to guess the other half?  Here’s a hint – it’s not Swedish.

Actual Problem: We think we do our best work 3 margaritas in.

**Thanks Dan Hess for reminding me that I am a silly and confused gringa.

  1. Uhm…just FYI, shouldn’t a half Mexican know that Cinco de Mayo is NOT Mexican Independence Day? That would be Sept. 16th. Cinco de Mayo just celebrates the Mexican victory over the French army at the Battle of Puebla…..just saying!

  2. Thank you…as a half-Latino myself (my mom is Guatemalan), I’ve learned that its important to be accurate when bringing up the extremely FEW victories our people have had over the centuries.
