Here’s the Problem: It was announced today that Rosie O’Donnell will be making her come back to TV – hosting a talk show on Oprah’s yet-to-be-launched network, OWN, in 2011. First of all, really Ro? OWN? You know there’s only one woman’s network out there worth being attached to and it doesn’t have a billionaire at its helm.
Actual Problem: As you may know, I listen to Rosie Radio every morning and here are a few things I’ve learned just over the last week:
- Rosie picks pieces of her skin. It’s an OCD and Ro’s dealing with it, but that doesn’t make the physicality of it any more attractive.
- Rosie buys a majority of her clothes from Old Navy and they often are 2-3 sizes too large. She has body issues – we all do.
- Rosie rarely brushes her hair. She will if reminded by her kids, but it’s just not something she thinks to do.
- Rosie is depressed and the feeling is aggravated by rain, natural disasters, the war in Afganistan, moderate to low sunlight, and the thought that she may have to kill her son’s chicken because it’s actually a rooster.
I love listening to a woman who has these problems. Do I want to see them? No. Rosie O’Donnell is a personality made for radio.
